Backstory

Twenty years ago in a vast and rich kingdom called Probos, there lived a good and gracious king. His name was King Eiou, and he was one of the wisest men in the world. He knew that the peaceful ages of men were coming to an end. He decided he needed to be able to defend his kingdom, so King Eiou formed a horde of knights called the Dark Dragons. The Dark Dragons were hand-picked by the king himself. Most of them were young, the oldest was only 12. The Dark Dragons were trained by the best. Druid, the famous archer, trained the men in the arts of the bow and arrow. Grudge, the best swordsman in the world, taught every single Dark Dragon how to swordfight and gave each of them a private lesson in which they would create their own fighting style. Tern, a scientist from the east islands, showed the men how to assemble and disassemble a bomb. So many men trained the Dark Dragons that the king's historians lost count. King Eiou knew that he needed someone to lead the Dark Dragons, as without good leadership, they would surely fall. So the king chose a man named Nox and granted him the title, Dark Dragon Master. The Dark Dragons trained for ten years and became the wisest, strongest, and most generous men and women in the world. The king used the Dark Dragons to protect his land, lead his armies, and enforce his laws. The Dark Dragons also did things for the people, protecting them from bandits, beasts, and sickness. After the Dark Dragons were formed, the people came to love the king for his great duties to his kingdom. The Age of Eiou was a peaceful age...but also a short one. King Eiou had a brother named Lord Yutake. He was very jealous of his brother because he was so rich and powerful. Yutake yearned to seize the throne. He sent many assassins to the King's castle in hopes that Eiou would be killed and he would be able steal the throne. But the Dark Dragons stood in his way. They were too many and too clever to defeat. After forty-four attempts on Yutake's part failed, Yutake took killing the king into his own hands. He called upon the demons of the underworld and sold his soul to the Dark Prince in return for the army of the underworld, the Red Knights. Yutake did not waste any time. He sent his army of one million men to Probos. The Red Knights destroyed everything they came by on their way to Probos Castle. The Dark Dragons were fast to come to their land's aid. Dark Dragon Master Nox led the Dark Dragons into the battle, and stood amazed at the might of Yutake's Red Knights. The Dark Dragons were being slaughtered by the minute. It took three days, but the Dark Dragons were eventually wiped out to three men. Dark Dragon Master Nox was furious. Seeing his men getting killed off unleashed a great fury from inside. Nox grabbed his blade and killed one-thousand and fifty-seven of Yutake's men. Yutake knew that Nox wasn't going to stop until he was dead. Yutake called upon the Dark Prince, requesting the Dark Blade of Nashra. The Dark Prince granted him the blade and possessed Yutake. The power of the sword fused them together into one being, Dark Lord Yutake. Yutake pushed his men out of his way as he sprinted at Nox. Nox did not expect the stab, nor did he intend to fall from it, but after Yutake stabbed him in the left shoulder, Nox fell to the ground unconcious. One of the remaining Dark Dragons, Sage Ember, called upon her great white dragon, Xu and flew to Nox's side, grabbed him, and flew away from the castle into Dreamiere Forest. The last remaining Dark Dragon, Huyei, ran swiftly and close behind them, because he was the fastest man in the world. Yutake had no trouble taking the castle with the Dark Dragons dead and gone. He imprisoned King Eiou and took the throne for himself. The Age of Eiou was coming to an end. Yutake killed all of the soldiers in the castle who would not obey him. He changed the laws to his benefit and raised the taxes on goods. The people were furious and some tried to kill Yutake but all attempts to take back the throne failed miserably. Without the Dark Dragons, the people were weak and down-hearted. Yet deep in the forest there lies a fortress. Inside that fortress lies the last three Dark Dragons and the last hope for Probos.
